The Superfast Essex Programme
By using a community hub, like a village hall, community centre, or parish hall, the Superfast Essex Programme aims to improve online engagement and provide additional value community based venues.
Funded by Essex County Council, the CIF covers the setup costs of a WiFi service as offered by the two operators under this scheme (only). Covering costs up to £400. This grant aims to provide WiFi for the community that you live in: a noble goal if ever we saw one.
More information on CIF and application forms for funding for the Community Wi-Fi scheme can be found on the CIF website at www.essex.gov.uk/CIF or via the links below. Guidance Notes CIF-Wi-Fi Scheme 2016-17.pdf
